About the Project: In a fun, feel-good rom-com revival, Motion Blur explores the awkward ‘in-between’ – the journey back home from the club to the house, which precedes a one night stand. Here, we follow the story of Lara and David, from their pursuits in the club. We find ourselves stuck within the confines of the awkward cab ride back to David’s place. In a reverse ‘meet-cute’ of sorts, Motion Blur explores the themes of romance, perception, identity and vulnerability, offering a simple yet insightful glimpse into human nature. What does it mean to be and feel seen?
